Code of Conduct

The participating teams are required to treat organisers, experts and other participants with utmost respect.
The rules communicated during each stage of the Hackfest must be adhered to.
Teams exhibiting unsporting behaviour and ideas, solutions that are inappropriate or unethical will be disqualified.
The decision of the jury is final.
Teams are not permitted to submit entries that are currently existing and commercially available.
All submissions must be original work and not owned by or subject to any other person or entity having any right or interest in it.
Submissions must not violate any Intellectual Property Rights or other rights including, but not limited to, contract, copyright, patent, trademark, and/or privacy rights, of any other person or entity.
ANZ does not intend to use any solution that is produced as part of Hackfest 2023 without consent of the team involved. Other organisations participating in this event are expected to follow suit.
ANZ is not liable for any plagiarism of ideas that take place during or after the event unilaterally by individuals or teams.
The application may include the use of open-source software, but they should ensure that:
(a) They comply with applicable licenses, and
(b) The applicable license terms should not require the release, disclosure or distribution of any part of the Application back to the open-source community or to any third party under any circumstances.
