1. WHAT IS ANZ HACKATHON 2023?
A hackathon is coding event where programmers, designers and developers collaborate to solve a problem and compete for prizes.

2. WHY WOULD SOMEONE PARTICIPATE IN A HACKATHON?
Participate in hackathons for the challenge, creative outlet, community collaboration, networking and above all bringing your idea to light.

4. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN ANZ HACKFEST 2023?
If you are a techie, an engineer, coder or someone who has amazing ideas around how ‘Generative AI can power, engineer and protect the next wave of banking industry. Then you are the one we are looking for.

5. ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITES OR REQUIRED SKILLS?
As participant of the ANZ HACKFEST 2023, you will discover how modern generative AI can be used in powering and protecting the next wave of banking. We have put together some ground rules to ensure fair and honest competition

6. DO I NEED TO FORM A TEAM?
ANZ HACKFEST 2023 is a team event so working with others is encouraged. We encourage you to form a team with size of 3-6 members.

7. WILL THERE BE TRAINING?
We are organising drop-in sessions where you will have an opportunity to understand the theme/sub theme a bit more in detail and we will also organise Q&A sessions to take care of any doubts around registration or any of the phases. click here for knowledge centre

8.IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I NEED TO PREPARE?
Find likeminded team members, top it with enthusiasm, creativity and innovative ideas and you are good to go.

9. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
There is no cost involved.

10. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WE WILL BE HACKING TO SOLVE?
Details of the Theme/Sub themes will be announced on the ANZ hackathon portal in advance for preparation, please attend the DROP-IN sessions conducted by ANZ to get more details on problem statements.

11. ARE THERE ANY PRIZES TO BE WON?
Absolutely. Check out our portal homepage for details.

12. HOW WILL TEAMS BE JUDGED?
The initial submissions will be reviewed and shortlisted by the jury which will be announced on 14th Jul. Successful participants will then need to prepare for a final presentation of their working prototype to the jury on 9th August.

13. WHO WILL BE JUDGING?
We have an eminent panel of judges from different organisations. They will be announced soon. Watch this space .

14. WHAT IS EXPECTED AS PART OF 26th June SUBMISSION?
We request participant to submit the below details:

  • TeamID – Name of the team
  • Presentation for your idea which contains problem statement/solution/time to market plus if you want to add other details
  • Demo – Not mandatory, if you have any working model please add the link, else leave it as blank
  • Video URL – Brief explanation of your idea within 2-3 mins
  • Sub Theme

15. DO WE NEED TO SUBMIT POC by 26th June?
No, we don't expect working POC to be submitted by 26th June, we are happy to accept the idea with above required submission details.
